Alorica India’s New Impact Sourcing Initiative Creates Job Opportunities for Under-represented Communities While Delivering Top Performance

Published on July 21, 2026

IRVINE, Calif., July 24, 2026Alorica Inc., a global leader in AI-powered customer experience (CX) and digital transformation services, today announced a new impact sourcing program in India as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility and inclusive growth. As the company expands its India operations and expects to create more than 2,000 jobs during the second half of 2026, it is intentionally connecting that growth to under-represented communities through local nonprofit partnerships—providing jobs, strengthening local economies and delivering industry-leading performance for clients.

In Bengaluru, Alorica partnered with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities through education, vocational training and employment. Together, the organizations welcomed its inaugural class of deaf and hard-of-hearing professionals to Alorica India. For many participants, it marked their first formal full-time job.

“At Alorica, we believe growth should create opportunity, not just for the company but for our people,” said Sanjay Ponnappa, Regional President of India & EMEA, Alorica. “As we expand across India, we are collaborating with local organizations that help us reach talented candidates who are often overlooked through traditional hiring practices. Our experience has shown that impact sourcing helps support communities with limited access to economic opportunities and individual career development, while enabling the company to achieve the high-quality performance that Alorica has built its reputation on.”

To support its success, a customized hiring, onboarding and training model was developed that included workplace orientation visits, revised assessments, sign-language awareness training, dedicated trainers and accessible communication tools. The new hires successfully completed classroom training and advanced into nesting, with early customer feedback exceeding 80% positive. The program was developed in collaboration with a leading global retail company, whose leaders recently visited the site and expressed confidence in the team's progress.

“The best part has been the feedback we’ve received from these team members, who have appreciated the opportunity to be treated equally in the workplace,” added Ponnappa. “As a Great Place to Work® certified employer, we deeply value feedback from our people. So we were extremely proud when several participants described the program as an example of true inclusion—where accessibility, understanding and support enable everyone to contribute and succeed.”

The program builds on Alorica's relationship with Samarthanam, which spans more than three years and includes employee volunteerism, hearing-aid sponsorships, donations of essential supplies and educational support for children in need.  It is one example of how Alorica brings its CSR strategy to life through community investment. Through Making Lives Better with Alorica (MLBA), the company's employee-led nonprofit, more than $10 million has been raised since 2015, supporting employees, communities and other charitable organizations through more than 15,200 grants, 700 nonprofit partnerships and disaster relief efforts around the world. Alorica's commitment to impact sourcing is especially important as the company continues to make its mark in India. In Bhartiya City, Alorica recently expanded its location to accommodate for hundreds of more employees, while opening a new site at Sattva Global City. The company plans to create more than 2,000 jobs in the country during the second half of 2026 to support growing client demand.
